When it comes to...

musical movies I'm no expert. I believe I've only seen Nine and the masterpiece (yeah, I said it) Moulin Rouge. I'm not an expert in the art of burlesque dancing either, but I'm pretty sure a certain miss Dita von Teese would be bored by the movie Burlesque. I wouldn't say I was bored, cause it did have it's moments, but the writing on this movie was pure clichés.



The cast was a good bunch. Cher has won a few awards for her past movies and is an ok actress, Cam G is uhhhhhh, nice!, Stanley Tucci can be my best friend anytime - this role is exactly the same as the one he had in The Devil Wears Prada.

Miss Aguilera did an ok job. I was relieved to see that she was not gonna pull a Mariah Carey in Glitter, but that she did have some acting skills... as long as she doesn't quit her dayjob.

Overall I'll give it 2 out of 5 stars.

Let me just...

start by saying that this is not what I initially wanted to wear tonight.

You see, I'm going to a premiere on Burlesque with a friend, and seeing that Burlesque is quite the feminine kinda movie I wanted to wear a dress or atleast a skirt, but it is too freaking cold for that!

Yesterday...

I went on a one-day trip to Copenhagen with my sister and mom.

We initially went to see Tivoli all lit up in Christmas Lights, but ofcourse we went shopping too. For all my foreign readers, Tivoli is an amusement park... I'm using the word Park very lightly here, cause it is in no way to be compared to American amusement parks!

It was soo cold, and the hobo-esque heating methods came in very useful and appreciated!

Traditional Danish Christmas food...

is indeed very brown, and doesn't look too appealing to somebody unaware of the great taste.

Yesterday we had the kind of dish that makes the whole apartment smell like Christmas (the smell was still there this morning), and it was soo good.

Most people would make caramelized potatoes, but I'm not a fan of those so I just cook the potatoes with the skin on (ofcourse they're thoroughly cleaned first) and that's my version.

The dish is roast pork, red cabbage, potatoes and brown sauce.

The other night...

the Boyfriend and I had dinner at his mom's house with two of his brothers. We ended up going to the cinema to watch Unstoppable, which was your usual 'need for speed'-type of movie - yeah, I know same plot same ending. There was one thing I liked about this one actually, which was that the fatal tragedy the 'heroes' were suppose to prevent wasn't caused by terrorists or bad people with bad intentions, but merely a lazy-ass dude not doing his job right!

I got this Gun-Britt conditioner from Boyfriend's mom, which will be put to the test in my crazeee hair.
