carve any Jacks, but I found these two on my computer from last years Halloween.

Dressing up is fun...

and dressing up as someone else is even more fun!

Next weekend I'll be attending my sister's roomie's Halloween Party, and I just got these hair sprays in the mail to help me with my look. The red one is mine, and the white one will help my sister get her Lagerfeld on :-D

I'll attempt to become The Red Queen from Alice in Wonderland.

It will probably not be with the big Victorian dress, but more likely resemble this...

I have about half the outfit done, but what I'm mostly doubting is the blue eyeshadow, which is kinda iconic, but really loathed too... What do you think?

When bad tv...

happens to good people.

Tomorrow is Halloween, and the tv stations are trying to run some scary-movie themes - and failing!

A few days ago...

this H&M package was sent my way.

I'd been tempted by their 20% off offer, and bought some stuff.

This grey skirt is darker than on this picture, and then it's got a leathry surface, which I really love!

I bought some black leather gloves in Cos in Hamburg this August, but it's already bugging me that they're not longer than they are, so I bought these suade grey gloves, and haven't regretted it since. They go perfectly with my blazers, which most of the time have shortened sleeves.

something you have to look long and hard for in today's pop world!

No Lip syncing, creative stage setting and most importantly a 'free-to-be-herself'-performer!

It was incredible and something I'd like to attend again in the future.

Though it is hard to find something negative to say about Miss Gaga's performance in DK yesterday, I do believe she's got some way to go on the stage to really blossom into the performer she wants to be. The upside is that she seems determined to get there.

a walk around the city with my sister, and we came upon this art gallery, where they were displaying a kid hung over a blue 'handyman stairs' (as I tend to call them) with a cane up his bum... really? Art?

When it comes to...

jewels, I'm not very good at remembering to wear them! I admire those who first of all manage to put them on every day, and I'm in awe of those who switch them out on a regular basis! I'd really like to have some new ones, but I rarely find ones that scream ME - most of the time I find ones that scream ME-the teenager!

While killing time till I'm off to work I browsed through http://www.topshop.com and found these.

The Girl in a Tutu is something I find adorable, but would never really wear, cause it's something I'd have loved as a teenager.

The Bird in a Cage ring is also kinda teenager within me, but a little more do-able.

The Pearl in the Wire Nest is something I'd love, but I don't often find myself dressing this pretty. Plus it's something I'd prefer to get from the Boyfriend - Hint Hint ;-)

Yesterday was...

a success!

Good food (way to praise myself), good company and a lot of good laughs... like when my Le Creuset stoneware baking dish broke in half while in the oven. That was a lil strange! You'd think stoneware would be made for that. I've barely used it twice a month over the year I've had it, so I really don't get what made it cave in. Will try and get a refund or something.

I didn't take any photos last night, since I always forget while having fun, but here is one from today's coffee and cookies time with the Boyfriend.
